the music already has a shape. this makes it visible.

participants' silhouettes are projected onto a backlit surface. four fixtures behind the audience, each with five individually controllable bulbs — audio triggers random combinations in real time, shifting the light source position. as the source moves, the shadows dance. colour and intensity respond to frequency and amplitude.

the audience becomes part of the image.

built in Processing. audio analysis drives real-time visual parameters. controlled via TouchOSC.
